You cannot see, smell, or taste radon, but it still may be a problem in your home. When you breathe air containing radon, you increase your risk of getting lung cancer. In fact, the Surgeon General has warned that radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the United States today and it is more prevalent in Idaho than any other state.

Mold Testing

Mold inspections involve understanding and following the guidelines for gathering samples and for describing the site conditions well enough to allow a well-educated analysis and report to be produced. We work with EPA-certified laboratories to examine these samples. Final mold reports tell the reader what types of mold are present and in what relative concentrations. The reports can also tell the reader whether the particular mold species found is “active”, “dormant”, or no longer “viable”.

Sewer Scopes

A sewer scope inspection is a video inspection of the sewer line that runs from your home’s “cleanout” which is generally found near the foundation, and connects to the city sewer line or a septic tank. Repairing a sewer line costs on average between $3000-$5000, and replacement can cost as much as $25,000. The line between your home and the street is the homeowner's responsibility, so it is important to inspect the sewer line for your home before you buy.

If you suspect mold in your home, we’re here to help. We use the latest lab tests and analysis to detect hidden mold that may be in crawl spaces, between walls, and in other such areas of your home, to ensure you and your family are safe from mold infestations.

Radon Testing

Radon is colorless, odorless, and extremely carcinogenic (cancer-causing). It can affect homes anywhere in the US, and the only way to check for elevated levels of radon in your home is with testing. Home tests are available, but we recommend professional testing for peace of mind.

Infrared Scanning

The purpose of an infrared scan is to find issues and catch them before they become a major problem. With the use of our infrared camera, we can help identify moisture, insulation, electrical, HVAC issues, and many more.
